Die Marlborough Sounds sind eine zerkl\u00fcftete K\u00fcstenregion mit unz\u00e4hligen Wasserarmen, Buchten und W\u00e4ldern im Norden der S\u00fcdinsel. Am besten erkundet man eine solche Landschaft nat\u00fcrlich auf dem Wasser, vorzugsweise mit dem Kajak. Daf\u00fcr ging es am Morgen um 8:30 Uhr in einer kleinen Gruppe mit 6 Leuten + Guide los. Ich hatte Gl\u00fcck und mein Kajakgenosse, ein Kanadier, war bereits ge\u00fcbter Hobbykajaksportler in seiner Heimat und machte den sportlichen Teil recht locker.<br \/>\nGegen Mittag, haben wir in einer der vielen Buchten gehalten, unser wohlverdientes Mittagessen genossen und uns so weit m\u00f6glich die F\u00fc\u00dfe vertreten. Danach ging es weiter durch die Sounds. Wobei man zugegeben an einem Tag mit dem Kajak leider nur einen wirklich winzigen Teil sehen kann.
