Ein See wenige Minuten mit dem Auto vom Fox Gletscher entfernt. Durch seine bewaldeten Ufer ist das Wasser des Sees zum einen braun gef\u00e4rbt und zum anderen ist es durch die abgeschirmte Lage relativ windstill. Die beiden Umst\u00e4nden f\u00fchren dazu dass der See Morgens und Abends die s\u00fcd\u00f6stlich gelegenen Berge Mt. Tasman und Mt. Cook nahezu perfekt spiegelt.<\/p>\n<p>Ich pers\u00f6nlich Empfehle die Abendstunden, da Morgens die Sonne hinter den Bergen aufgeht und man meistens mit ordentlich Gegenlicht bei den Fotoaufnahmen zu k\u00e4mpfen hat.
